Ingredients

  • 1 can mackeral
  • 3/4 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pickle relish
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. margarine
  • 1 tsp. minced onions
  • 1 1/2 c. white sauce
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
  • 6 stuffed olives, sliced

Directions

    Flake mackeral; add crumbs, milk, relish, eggs, salt and melted margarine.

    Mix well.

    Pack into a loaf pan.

    Set in shallow pan of hot water and bake in moderate 350° oven about 30 minutes or until loaf becomes firm.

    Turn out.

    Add onions to white sauce and pour over loaf.

    Arrange egg slices on top with olive slices on each egg.
