  • 1 can mackeral
  • 3/4 c. bread crumbs
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. pickle relish
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 4 slices bacon

Directions

    Drain the mackeral, flake and place in a bowl.

    Add the bread crumbs, milk, pickle relish, eggs, salt, margarine and onion and mix well.

    Pack in a well-greased loaf pan and place bacon on top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, then slice.
