Macrobiotic Kurumabu Steak

  • 2 Kurumabu (wheel-shaped fu, dried wheat gluten)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, garlic
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 200 ml Dashi stock
  • 1 Katakuriko
  • 1 Green onions for garnish

Directions

    Grate the garlic and the ginger.

    Mix it together with the soy sauce and the dashi stock.

    Now marinate the kurumabu with the mixture made in Step 1.

    Be sure to marinate it thoroughly.

    Next coat the kurumabu with katakuriko.

    Pour some oil into a frying pan, and cook untll it's browned.

    Put it on a plate, sprinkle some onions on top, and it's done.
