Ingredients

  • 1 c. mincemeat
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 c. mixed candied fruit
  • 1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Combine mincemeat, nuts, candied fruit, condensed milk and egg.
  2. 2
    Combine flour and baking soda. Stir into other ingredients. Line 10-inch tube pan with waxed paper and grease with shortening. Pour batter into pan and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until center springs back.
