- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Mexican style stewed tomatoes, cut up
- 3/4 c. quick cooking brown rice
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 (15 oz.) can black beans or red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 lb. thinly sliced cooked beef, cut in strips
- 1/2 c. salsa
- 12 (7-inch) flour tortillas
- plain yogurt (optional)
- sliced green onion (optional)
Directions

1In a large skillet, stir together undrained tomatoes, rice, sugar, garlic powder, 2/3 cup water and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.

2Simmer, covered, for 12 to 14 minutes or until rice is tender.

3Stir beans, beef and salsa into rice mixture; heat together.

4Wrap tortillas in foil.

5Heat in a 350° oven for 10 minutes.
