- 6 medium potatoes (2 lb.)
- 4 oz. dairy sour cream
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut up
- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1/4 tsp. pepper or white pepper
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- salt to taste
Directions

1Cook or boil pared potatoes until tender; drain.

2In a large bowl mash with a potato masher or beat with electric mixer on low speed. Add sour cream, cream cheese, 1 tablespoon margarine or butter, salt, pepper and thyme.

3Gradually beat in enough of the milk to make smooth and fluffy.

4Turn into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

5Cover with foil and chill up to 24 hours.
