Mama's Fried Rice

Ingredients
- 3 to 4 cups steamed white long grain rice
- 1 lg. onion, finely chopped
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/2 cup cooked peeled shrimp (optional)
- 2 eggs, made into omelette and chopped
- Kikoman soya sauce (brand important!)
- 1 tsp. chicken flavoured stock powder
Directions

1Fry onion over medium heat until transparent.

2Add bacon and fry until cooked.

3Add green pepper, carrot and shrimp.

4Stir fry for approximately 5 minutes.

5Add cooked rice and mix thoroughly to distribute the vegetables into rice.

6Add chicken stock powder and soya sauce (maximum 50 ml.)

7until desired flavour achieved.

8Make omelette with eggs, chop roughly and place on top of rice to serve.
