  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. white Karo
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix sugar, water and Karo thoroughly.

    Boil until mixture forms hard ball.

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Slowly pour hot syrup over egg whites.

    Add vanilla.

    Beat with a wooden spoon until very cool and thick.

    Add nuts.

    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto buttered waxed paper.
