- 14 cup sliced almonds
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 14 head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
- 14 bunch romaine lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 green onions, with tops thinly sliced
- 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin orange segments, drained
- 14 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon snipped parsley
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 dash red pepper sauce
Directions

1Dressing: Shake all ingredients in a tightly covered jar;refrigerate.

2Salad: Cook almonds and sugar over low haest,stirring constanly,until sugar is melted and almonds are coated.

3Cool and break apart.

4Store at room temp.

5Place lettuce and romaine in a plastic bag;add celery and onions.

6Pour sweet and sour dressing in the bag;add orange segments.

7Close bag tightly and shake till coated.

8Add almonds and enjoy!
