- 2 c. mango slices, half ripe and packed solidly
- 3 Tbsp. oleo (I use butter flavored Crisco)
- 2/3 c. bread crumbs
- 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Melt the butter and add bread crumbs.

2Place a layer of the buttered bread crumbs in a oiled baking dish.

3Add a layer of mango.

4Sprinkle the fruit with sugar and cinnamon and add another layer of crumbs.

5Add another layer of mango.

6Place more crumbs on top.

7Bake in moderate oven for about 1 hour or until mangoes are soft.
