  • 2 c. mango slices, half ripe and packed solidly
  • 3 Tbsp. oleo (I use butter flavored Crisco)
  • 2/3 c. bread crumbs
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp. water

Directions

    Melt the butter and add bread crumbs.

    Place a layer of the buttered bread crumbs in a oiled baking dish.

    Add a layer of mango.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle the fruit with sugar and cinnamon and add another layer of crumbs.

    Add another layer of mango.

    Place more crumbs on top.

    Bake in moderate oven for about 1 hour or until mangoes are soft.
