- 1- 2 oz. bottle real bacon pc.
- 3- 16 oz. cans diced tomatoes
- 3- 8 oz. bottles clam juice
- 3 cups celery finely chopped
- 3 cups onion finely chopped
- 6 med. potatoes diced
- 1 1/2 cups carrots chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 3/8 teaspoons pepper
- 8 cups water
- 1- 12 oz. can tomato juice
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in large pot. Bring to a boil stirring often. Reduce heat to simmer/low boil for 4-6 hours. You want to cook it until vegetables are tender, and clam taste permeates all ingredients.
