  • 2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • uncooked manicotti shells
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

    Brown meat and onions; drain. Stir in 1/4 cup Parmesan, eggs, 1/2 can sauce and seasonings. Fill shells with meat mixture. Place in dish and pour cornbread, tomatoes, tomato sauce and water over shells. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil. Bake 1 hour at 350°. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Put back in the oven until cheese is melted.
