Maple Butternut Pie

  • 4 eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. Mapleline (flavoring)
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted and cooled
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. broken butternuts (walnuts can be substituted)

Directions

    Mix ingredients just enough to blend.

    Add broken butternuts. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Preheat oven to 350° but turn down to 325° when you put the pie in the oven.

    Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until just set in the center.

    Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
