Ingredients
- 1/2 c. diced dried apricots
- 1/2 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 3 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
Directions

1Cover apricots with boiling water.

2Let stand 15 minutes. Drain and chop.

3Mix apricots, dates and nuts.

4Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.

5Add brown sugar and date mixture; mix.

6Combine egg and milk; add maple syrup and stir into dry ingredients.

7Pour into 2 well-greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pans.

8Let stand 15 to 20 minutes.

9Preheat oven to 350°; bake about 50 minutes.

10Cool on a rack.
