  • 1 c. maple syrup
  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 beaten egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Heat together the syrup, milk and butter until butter is melted.

    Add mixture of remaining ingredients to hot mixture and boil until thick.

    Pour into baked and cooled pie crust.

    Top with unsweetened whipped cream.
