- 2 doz. carrots, cut
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1In heavy saucepan, combine carrots, water and salt.

2Bring to a boil and cook, covered, over medium heat, until tender.

3Drain. Add remaining ingredients.

4Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

5Serve with sauce spooned over.

6Makes 2 cups.
