  • 5 to 6 artichokes
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions

    Cut 1/2-inch off bottom of artichokes.

    Cut prickers off each leaf.

    Boil artichokes in water and cover pan, approximately 20 minutes or when fork stuck in bottom and soft.

    Remove from pan.
