Marinated Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. fresh carrots or canned
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 large sliced onion
  • 1 can tomato soup

Directions

    Cook carrots in salt water and drain.

    Mix other ingredients and pour over carrots, onion and pepper.

    Refrigerate overnight and stir next day before serving.

    Will keep 2 or 3 weeks; stir occasionally.

    Very good with soup.
