  • 2 c. beer
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 (3 to 10 lb.) chuck steak or roast
