- 9 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 cup canola oil
- 3 tablespoons basil, fresh chopped
- 3 tablespoons chives, fresh minced
- 1 lb fresh green beans
- 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
Directions

1Mix the first six ingredients to make a vinaigrette.

2Clean and remove ends from green beans.

3Chop the onion.

4Place beans and onions in a medium sized bowl that has a tight fitting cover.

5Pour 1/3 of the vinaigrette over the beans and onion.

6Put the cover on the bowl and toss to coat.

7Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.

8Serve chilled.

9The remaining vinaigrette can be used on salads, vegetables etc and will keep in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
