Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) cans chopped sauerkraut, washed well and drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped fine green bell pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1 large carrot, chopped fine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water

Directions

    Bring to boil the sugar, oil, vinegar and water.

    Cool to lukewarm and pour over sauerkraut, pepper, onion and carrot. Chill; keep in covered bowl.

    Will keep 2 or more weeks.
