  • 1 each beef, flank steak (london broil) or london broil (about 1 1/2 pounds)
  • 23 cup red wine dry
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce, tamari
  • 18 teaspoon oregano crumbled
  • 18 teaspoon marjoram crumbled
  • 18 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

    Mix together the wine, soy sauce and seasonings.

    Place steak in a long glass baking dish and pour marinade over meat.

    Cover and chill at least 12 to 18 hours, turning meat once or twice.

    Preheat broiler.

    Remove steak from marinade.

    Pat dry and broil 4 inch from heat for about 5 minutes on each side.

    To serve, cut thin slices diagonally across grain.

    Serve with rice.
