Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 (1 lb.) jar (1 1/2 c.) orange marmalade
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Sift together dry ingredients.

    Reserve 1/4 cup marmalade. Combine remaining 1 1/4 cups marmalade, egg, orange juice and oil. Add to flour mixture, stirring until moistened.

    Stir in nuts. Turn into a greased 9 1/2 x

    x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done. Remove from pan and place on baking sheet. Spread top with reserved marmalade and return to oven 1 minute to glaze.
