  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor
  • 6 Tbsp. melted butter
  • pecan halves (enough to cover tops of 2 baked pies; possibly 2 c. chopped)
  • 2 pie shells

    Beat the eggs and sugar together.

    Add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

    Pour mixture into pie shells.

    Cover with pecan halves.

    Bake for 1 1/4 hours at 350°.
