Mary'S Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 3/4 lb. hamburg
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. Romano cheese
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 9 oz. can tomatoes
- 4 tsp. olive oil
- 4 slices wet bread
- 4 large peppers
Directions

1In a large frying pan on low heat, dice garlic and brown in the olive oil.

2Pour in 1/2 can of tomatoes and simmer.

3In a large bowl, mix hamburg, eggs, cheese, parsley, salt, pepper and bread; then tomato mixture.

4Wash peppers; cut in half and remove seeds. Stuff peppers.

5Place peppers on lightly oiled baking dish.

6Bake at 325° for about 30 minutes.

7Spoon remaining tomatoes over top of peppers and bake for another 30 minutes.
