Matcha Tea Cookies

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 7/8 cup powdered sugar
  • 2/3 cup softened butter
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon tea powdered Matcha, or green tea

    Preheat the oven to 180C.

    Sift the powdered sugar and the Matcha tea together.

    Add the softened butter and beat with a mixer until smooth and uniform in consistency.

    Gradually add the flour, mixing well after each addition.

    Add the egg yolks and knead quickly shaping the dough into a cylinder in order to place it inside the cookie press.

    Insert the disk of your choice and press the cookies out directly onto the cookie sheet.

    Bake the cookies for approximately 15 minutes.

    Remove the cookies from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
