- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 c. water
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry oregano leaves
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 1 1/2 lb. ground round
Directions

1Mix onion soup and water in saucepan; simmer 5 minutes.

2Pour 2 tablespoons of the tomato sauce into a cup; add garlic salt, thyme, pepper, oregano and parsley; mix well.

3Add herb mixture to ground beef and mix until blended.

4Add remaining tomato sauce to onion soup mixture.

5Shape meat balls about the size of a small egg and place in a 2-quart casserole.

6Pour soup mixture over meat balls.

7Cover and refrigerate.
