- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 2 medium size onions, chopped
- 1 c. quick cooking oats
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. parsley
- 1 large (16 oz.) can kraut
Directions

1Mix well the ingredients, then make out in balls, the size of walnuts. Put 1/2 cup kraut in bottom of pan. Place meatballs on kraut and cover them with the rest of kraut and juice.

2Bake with lid on at 450° for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°. Bake for 45 minutes.

3Mix 1/2 cup ketchup with 1/4 cup water.

4Pour over top and bake 20 minutes or longer until meatballs are done.
