  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs (2 slices)
  • 2/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dry basil leaf
  • 1 lb. ground beef (I use ground chuck)

    Dissolve bouillon cube in water. Combine bouillon with all ingredients except meat. Mix well. Add beef and pat into loaf. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
