Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • fresh ground pepper to taste
  • 2 slices fresh bread, diced small
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck or ground round
  • 1 small or 1 medium onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped and sauteed (optional)
  • 2 to 3 cans cream of mushroom soup (do not add water)
  • 1 small container sour cream

Directions

    Saute ground chuck; drain out excess grease in colander. Return to frypan and on low to medium heat, add onion, salt, pepper and mushrooms.

    Turn down to low heat and blend in soup. After blended, add sour cream; blend slowly and set on simmer.

    Do not boil.

    Serve over rice or noodles or any type of pasta you desire.
