- 2 (9-inch) pie crusts (unbaked)
- round steak or stew meat, cut in small pieces
- carrots, cut in slices
- potatoes, sliced in thin slices
- 1 onion, diced or cut into thin slices
- 1 stick margarine
Directions

1Line a 9-inch pie plate with one nine-inch pie crust.

2Layer first with meat, then potatoes, carrots and onions.

3Season to taste.

4Repeat the layer again.

5If using a deep-dish pie plate, you may be able to get three layers.

6On top of the last layer, top with 1 stick of margarine sliced and placed all over the top (sometimes I don't use a whole stick).

7Then top with the other 9-inch pie crust; flute edges and cut slits in top of the crust. Place on cookie sheet and bake in oven for 2 hours at 200°.
