Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. beef or veal round, sliced 1/4-inch thick
- choice of stuffing (whatever your family prefers)
- 1/4 c. enriched flour
- 1/4 c. Fluffo
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 2 tsp. chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tomatoes, chopped or 1 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 c. stock or wine
Directions

1Cut meat into 3 or 4-inch squares.

2Place desired filling in center of each piece.

3Roll the meat and tie with string.

4Dip rolls in flour.

5Heat Fluffo in skillet or Dutch oven and in it brown the rolls on all sides.

6Add remaining ingredients except parsley.

7Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Remove rolls to serving dish and strain gravy over them.

8Sprinkle with parsley. If desired, stir 1/4 cup of cream into gravy.
