Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground beef or deer
  • 2 lb. hot sausage
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 or 3 pieces of toasted bread
  • red pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 bell pepper, grated
  • 2 celery stalks, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 to 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Mix all ingredients well. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Roll into balls and deep fry. Cool; drain well. Serve as appetizer or put in sauce for main dish. They also freeze very well.
