- 2 lean rib eye steaks, 1 inch thick
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano, crushed
- 1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
- 2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped pitted kalamata olive
Directions

1Sprinkle both sides of the steaks with the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.

2Rub the seasonings into the meat.

3Combine the oil and garlic in a large nonstick skillet.

4Cook over medium heat for 1 minute, or until the garlic starts to sizzle.

5Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side until medium-rare.

6remove from the heat and sprinkle with the feta, lemon juice, and olive.

7Cut each steak in half before serving.
