- 1 slice Sliced bread
- 1/2 sac Mentaiko (spicy salted cod or pollack roe) or tarako (salted cod or pollack roe)
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise / Cream cheese
Directions

1Scrape out the insides of the mentaiko out with the back of a kitchen knife.

2Mix with the mayonnaise.

3If you use cream cheese, first bring it to room temperature so it is soft.

4Cover the slice of bread completely and generously with the step 1 mixture.

5Place it on top of a piece of aluminum foil (to prevent burning) and toast in a toaster oven until crispy, about 4~5 minutes.

6Please adjust accordingly to keep from burning.
