- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 egg whites
- dash of salt
Directions

1Combine water, sugar and cornstarch in a small saucepan, stirring well.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until transparent and thickened.

3Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Continue beating while gradually pouring cooked mixture into egg whites.

4Beat for 3 minutes, or until stiff, but not dry, peaks form.

5Makes enough for one pie.
