- 2 egg whites
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Add cream of tartar to egg whites and beat until dry and stiff.

3Add sugar and beat well.

4Add vanilla, almond extract and chocolate chips.

5Cover cookie sheet with brown paper bag, drop mixture by spoonful on paper and turn heat off on oven before inserting cookie sheet.

6Let stay overnight or until oven is completely cool.

7This mixture doesn't change shape, so it can be put close together on cookie sheet.
