  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. Mesquite bean flour
  • 1/8 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

    Mesquite Flour:

    Gather mature beans, thoroughly dry them in a low oven (140° to 150°).

    Grind in a blender the whole bean!

    Sift flour to remove unground parts.

    Store in a tight container and refrigerate if possible because it is very appealing to insects.
