- 2 lb. turkey
- 1 onion
- 2 stalks celery
- 2 carrots
- 1 tsp. Mrs. Dash
- 3 c. soaked mesquite wood chips
Directions

1Place wet mesquite wood chips in 1 disposable aluminum pie pan on coals on one side of the bottom of outdoor grill (remove grids so that pan is sitting directly on the coals).

2Very important to keep wood chips wet at all times so it smokes.

3Quarter onion and carrots; place in cavity of turkey.

4Sprinkle Mrs. Dash in the cavity also.

5Put turkey in oblong pan on top of grill to one side.

6Turn both burners on high for 3/4 hour.

7The burner under the larger part of turkey turn low and the other burner turn medium for 4 hours or until done.

8This is the turkey that is served at the Leeds' Thanksgiving dinner.
