- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles, drained
- 1/2 c. bottled green taco or enchilada sauce
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- tortilla chips (optional)
Directions

1Cook and stir beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until beef loses pink color.

2Pour off drippings.

3Stir cheese, chiles, taco sauce and eggs.

4Transfer mixture to 8 x 8-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean and top is golden brown.

5Cool in pan 15 minutes. Cut into 36 squares.

6Serve with tortilla chips.

7Makes 36 appetizers.
