- 2 tsp. salad oil
- 1 bottle spicy sauce for tacos
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. instant minced garlic
- 1/4 c. instant minced onion
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken
Directions

1Cook chicken in oil over medium heat about 15 minutes, until brown.

2Drain.

3Mix sauce for tacos, water, salt, oregano, instant garlic and instant onion.

4Pour over chicken.

5Reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.

6Place chicken in an ungreased 9 x 9-inch baking pan or in ovenproof serving dish. Cool.

7Sprinkle with cheese; cover and refrigerate 8 hours.

8Heat at 400°.

9Bake 40 minutes.
