Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (14 oz.) can green chili salsa
  • 1 (17 oz.) can spicy refried beans
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar or Jack cheese

Directions

    Brown beef with onion and garlic.

    Crumble beef. Stir in all remaining ingredients except raisins.

    Stirring occasionally, bring mixture to a boil.

    Remove from heat and stir in raisins. Serve warm with cheese sprinkled on top.

    Use as a dip for tortilla chips and/or raw vegetable dippers.
