- 2 1/2 c. salt water
- 3/4 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. cold water
- garlic powder
- chili powder
- 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 can whole corn
- 1 to 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- corn chips for topping
Directions

1Prepare a thick mush of 2 1/2 cups salted water.

2Put water in microwavable 2-quart measuring cup or casserole dish.

3Bring to a boil.

4Stir in 3/4 cup cornmeal mixed in 1-cup cold water. Continue to microwave stirring every minute until mush thickens. Remove and season with garlic powder and chili powder to taste.
