Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger or chicken, cooked and cut bite size
  • 1 c. onion
  • 1 can diced mild green chilies
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can mild enchilada sauce
  • 1 lb. grated cheese
  • 1 pkg. corn or flour tortillas
  • sour cream (if desired)

Directions

    Cook meat; drain.

    Add onion and cook until tender.

    Set aside.

    Mix all cans together; set aside.

    Cut tortillas in 4ths. Layer in casserole, tortillas, meat, sauce and cheese several times.

    Cook at 350° until bubbly and hot.

    Let set about 10 minutes.

    Serve with sour cream, salad, refried beans, chips and dip.

    Even better the second day! Great doubled or tripled.
