  • 3 1/2 to 4 lb. chicken pieces
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes or tomato juice
  • 1 can Shoepeg corn
  • garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in large Dutch oven (or chicken can be floured and browned first).

    Cook on top of stove (or in 325° oven) for 1 1/2 hours.

    Serve with tossed salad and toasted French bread.
