- 1 1/2 c. elbow spaghetti, uncooked
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- speck of red pepper
- No. 303 can kidney beans
- 1 can tomato puree
Directions

1Cook spaghetti according to package directions.

2Saute onion in butter or margarine until soft.

3Add ground beef.

4Cook until brown, stirring occasionally.

5Combine meat mixture with spaghetti, seasonings, kidney beans and tomato puree.

6Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

7Serve hot in bowls.
