  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 large pod hot pepper
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 c. sharp grated cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Add all ingredients together except cheese; pour half in a well-greased pan.

    Sprinkle with cheese.

    Pour in other half. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
