  • 1 1/2 c. corn meal
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. sweet milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) can cream-style corn or an equal amount frozen corn
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 or 2 hot peppers, chopped fine
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil

Directions

    Mix and bake in iron skillet for 40 minutes.

    Will come out better if allowed to cool.
