- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 1/2 c. cream-style corn
- 1 c. white corn meal
- 3 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 can green peppers (you can use green chiles or jalapeno)
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, except cheese and peppers; mix and pour 1/2 into greased pan.

2Spread peppers over batter; sprinkle with 1/2 of cheese.

3Cover with remaining batter.

4Top with remaining cheese.

5Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
