- 1 c. corn meal
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 small can cream-style corn
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 to 3 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
- 1/3 c. oil
- milk
Directions

1Combine ingredients from corn meal through oil in mixing bowl. Stir well. Add enough milk for desired consistency.

2Pour batter into greased baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until bread tests for doneness.
