  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 small can cream-style corn
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 to 3 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • milk

Directions

    Combine ingredients from corn meal through oil in mixing bowl. Stir well. Add enough milk for desired consistency.

    Pour batter into greased baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until bread tests for doneness.
